Mark Abell

Mark is internationally recognised as a leader in his field.
He is highly rated by the International Who's Who of Franchise
Lawyers (Law Business Research). Mark lectures around the
world on franchising. He advised the Chinese government on
its new franchise law and acts as an expert to the United Nations
WIPO and WTO on franchising. In this capacity he has advised
the governments of many countries on the legal aspects of
franchising. These countries include India, China, Singapore,
Indonesia, Peru and Venezuela. Mark is Chairman of the European Franchising Network (EfN). He has
been published extensively in a wide range of publications and
journals, and authored five books on franchising including
Butterworths “Encyclopaedia of Forms and Precedents”. He is a
member of the Editorial Board of US publication Franchise Law and
Business. He is also a member of the ABA Franchise Forum and
IBA Franchising Committee.
